ABOUT US

Alexandra Young, L.Ac.

Alexandra is a New York state licensed acupuncturist and herbalist, and a member of both the Acupuncture Society of New York, and the American Society of Acupuncturists. She received her Master’s Degree from Pacific College of Health and Science after completing over 4,050 hours of classroom instruction and clinical training. Alexandra’s treatments blend extensive knowledge with genuine compassion and empathy, guiding her to create meaningful changes in the lives of her patients. Alexandra’s passion for women’s and menstrual health stemmed from her own experience within the healthcare system, and it was during her own pregnancy journey when she found her love for all things fertility. As a mother herself, Alexandra adores working with children and has a calm and gentle approach that makes her pediatric patients feel at ease.

Beyond periods, pregnancies, and pint-sized people, Alexandra enjoys volleyball, karaoke, movie theaters, and leisurely bike rides through Brooklyn.

Auro Acupuncture is built on a foundation of unwavering empathy, compassion, and respect. My approach is to engage with each patient as if they were my own family, acknowledging their individual journeys and collaborating closely with them to address their unique health challenges. My practice is dedicated to empowering you with personalized TCM care by blending traditional Chinese medicine with modern techniques.

I help women, people who menstruate, and their families find balance in their lives, whether they are struggling with hormonal imbalances, menstrual difficulties, infertility, pregnancy complications, postpartum recovery, lactation complications, or a myriad of pediatric conditions by applying long-used and effective traditional Chinese medicine techniques. My passion lies in empowering individuals to feel truly comfortable and at peace in their bodies. Together, we will work towards your goal of living a joyous, balanced, and healthful life in the heart of Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
